Leachman New Era is a powerful son of the balanced-trait leader, B/R New Design 036 and the high performance, herd-bull producing, Leachman Lassie 0007. He is a very long, clean made calf with a tremendous amount of muscle mass. He is very structurally correct with a wide base and a big stride.
New Design 036 is a low Birth Weight EPD sire with strong growth and maternal ability that ranks in the top 5% of the breed for Marbling, REA and Percent Retail Product.
Leachman Lassie 0007 ranked as Leachman's top weaning and yearling production cow before we bought her in Leachman's record-setting female sale in 1997. She has produced many outstanding herd sires with the likes of Leachman Alliance, Leachman Booster, Leachman Good News and Leachman In The Black.
Leachman New Era is a herd bull for the next generation. He can be used on Right Time, EXT and Traveler 71 daughters as well as many other high-performance, bred females.

I87 is a powerful young sire, who will gain more notoriety, as his progeny pool gets larger. As a natural calf of a 2 year old I87 had an adjusted weaning weight of 852 and a ratio of 117. He had an adjusted yearling weight of 1,348 lb. and a ratio of 121. His grandmother is the great donor from Gardiner Angus Ranch, GAR Bando 338. 338 has resided at KMK since 1998. His mother GAR EXT 916 now resides at Twin Eagle Ranch in Texas, where she has achieved Pathfinder status.
We thought so much of I87 that last year we bred all of our 2 year olds to him. Most of them are on the ground now AND we are glad we did!
